In order to ensure a well-rounded formation for our students, the Academy unites academics with artistic activities, such as short plays and musical performances. Ci sforziamo di garantire una formazione integrale della persona, unendo agli studi accademici altre attività artistiche, musicali e teatrali, che sviluppino la creatività in ogni campo. Cummunal life fosters friendship between all those who take part in it, and creates a richer, more human experience. La vita comune favorisce l'amicizia che lega fra loro chiunque ne faccia parte e crea un'esperienza più ricca e più umana. Vita communis amicitiam firmat inter eos qui aliquid altius ac vere humanum et experiri et ipsi agere volunt.

Admission

Pupils from sixteen to twenty-five years of age are admitted to the Academy. Room, board and classes are sustained through scholarships. Each year no more than forty students are accepted in the male boarding school for the annual program (from October to mid-June). Finally, all students are expected to maintain certain norms of behavior.

  2. send a full-detailed motivation letter to candidati@vivariumnovum.net.

In the letter, the prospective student should elaborate on his motivations and views on the humanities. Besides this, the letter must contain the following information:

  • Full name
  • Date and location of birth
  • What degree(s) you have attained or are in the process of pursuing, and what you are studying
  • How long you have studied Latin
  • Which authors and works you have read
  • Other studies and primary interests outside of school
  • A recent photograph
  • A copy of a valid identification document

Each year, applications are received from the 1st of January to the 10th of July. The results of the contest are generally given within mid-August, but early applicants may receive a response before that time.
